Published operational draft — legal review pending

Privacy & Analytics

This notice explains how Zyrous handles information submitted through this website and how consent, analytics and experience tools operate. It is published as an operational draft and remains subject to legal review.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Overview

Zyrous Pty Ltd provides digital product, software engineering and technology services. This notice applies to the public Zyrous website. It does not replace any privacy terms that apply to a client engagement, employment process or other specific service.

Information you provide

When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. If you email, call or otherwise communicate with Zyrous, we may also receive your organisation, phone number and other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit sensitive information through the public website unless it is necessary and requested.

Website and analytics data

If you allow analytics, we may collect website usage information such as pages viewed, session and interaction data, referral source, approximate location, and browser or device information. Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers to distinguish visits and sessions. Campaign parameters, such as UTM tags and advertising click identifiers, may be retained with an enquiry to help us understand its source. Analytics storage is denied until you make a choice.

Experience insights and Contentsquare

If you allow analytics, Contentsquare helps us understand interaction patterns through heatmaps and sampled session replays, including clicks, scrolling and page navigation. We configure it to mask values entered into form fields and other editable content, and withdrawing analytics consent triggers an opt-out. We do not intentionally use it to capture the content of enquiries.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, operate and secure the website, understand which content and campaigns are useful, measure marketing performance, improve navigation and user experience, diagnose technical issues and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Cookies and your choices

Analytics and experience tools may use cookies or similar browser storage. You can allow or reject analytics through the site’s consent controls and reopen Analytics settings to change your choice. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from viewing the site or contacting Zyrous.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use service providers including Framer for website hosting and forms, Google Analytics for measurement, and Contentsquare for experience analytics. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own security and privacy arrangements. Zyrous remains responsible for selecting appropriate providers and configuring them consistently with this notice and applicable obligations. Contact us if you would like more information about relevant processing locations.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, our contractual and operational needs, and applicable legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Access, correction and contact

You may contact hello@zyrous.com to ask about personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw a consent preference where applicable. To make a complaint, describe the issue and the outcome you seek. We will acknowledge and investigate it, may need to verify your identity, and will respond within a reasonable period. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version and its update date will be shown on this page.
